In order to encourage foreign teachers and students in SUSTech to learn and use Chinese, as well as to feel the charm of the traditional folk culture and to promote cultural exchanges, on June 20, 2023, the Dragon Boat Festival special event "Wrapping Zongzi and Learning Chinese" organized by the Language Center of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Department of International Cooperation and the Language and Writing Work Committee was held in our school.
 

The activity contained lively and interesting teaching contents to explain the Dragon Boat Festival culture to international teachers and students, and also invited cooks from Cha Chaan Teng to show how to make Zongzi on the spot, which has aroused great interest of many foreign friends.
 

This event not only allowed international teachers and students in our school to be familiar with traditional Chinese festivals, but also made them feel the warmth in SUSTech. They expressed great pleasure in participating in this event and looked forward to having more opportunities to learn and experience traditional Chinese culture.
