Research Areas and Philosophy

My research focuses on heterogeneous catalysis related to hydrogen production, with a systematic development of catalytic systems for methanol steam reforming.

My work is guided by four pillars:

1. Innovating New Reactions: Developing novel catalytic processes with high application value to address national strategic needs ("Innovation").

2. Optimizing Catalysts: Designing high-performance catalysts that balance activity, selectivity, stability, and cost-effectiveness for key reaction systems ("Efficiency").

3. In-depth Mechanistic Studies: Utilizing advanced in-situ/operando techniques to reveal the dynamic evolution of catalyst structures and reaction processes at atomic-molecular scales, elucidating structure-activity relationships ("Precision").

4. Promoting Practical Applications: Focusing on hydrogen energy production and utilization by developing efficient, industrial-scale catalysts to bridge the gap between lab research and industrialization ("Application").

Academic Achievements and Awards

To date, I have published 44 academic papers, including 15 publications as the first author (including co-first authors), such as Nature, Nature Catalysis, JACS, Angew. Chem., Nature Commun., Chem, and ACS Catalysis. I hold 3 filed patents for inventions.
